pressure measuring transducer | GMUD-MP
Product Description
general information:
microprocessor-controlled, digital pressure measuring transducer with display and operation via 3 buttons.
By means of freely scaleable analog output that can be switched between 4 to 20 mA and 0 to 10 V.
Code lock, parameters can be changed only on entry of a code (code memorized fixly).
application:
Suitable for: air and non-aggressive gases
Not suitable for water!
application areas:
controlling, measuring and monitoring, climate and ventilation, environmental and medical technology
types of pressure:
Absolute pressure is the pressure related to vacuum (zero pressure).
If no pressure is applied (pressure connection open), the ambient pressure is displayed.
Examples: meteorological measurements (e.g. 1,013 hPa abs.), vacuum processes
Differential pressure is the pressure difference between 2 pressures.
Usually both of the pressures are connected to the respective side of the measuring membrane, the sensor must possess two pressure connections.
Examples: ventilation technology/filters, dynamic pressure measurements
The relative pressure is the pressure difference between a pressure/vacuum and the ambient pressure.
For measuring the relative pressure by means of a differential pressure sensor (2 pressure connections) one of the terminals is left open.
Examples: pneumatic, tire pressure, hydraulic
